Over deze koffie
This is one of those coffees that you’re so excited to roast, cup, taste, and take home for yourself that it’s almost a bummer to sell it. The only consolation is knowing that all of you are getting to drink one of your favorite coffees too. What’s there left to say about the CGLE Sudan Rume that hasn’t already been said? For a coffee that more than speaks for itself it’s hard to put pen to paper (or fingers to keys I guess?) but let’s take a crack at it. Sudan Rume is a rare variety that’s difficult to grow- it’s a landrace Ethiopian varietal that was brought to Las Margaritas to experiment with because of it’s potential cup profile.
