About this coffee
For the second year in a row available: Yulchen from Guatemala.
This time, the coffee comes from Rosendo Domingo. A second-generation coffee farmer who works together with his sisters to ensure a good harvest.
As harvesting begins, he makes sure everyone is motivated and ready to work. Only the most ripe cherries are picked, which are then dried that same day under water. After a fermentation of 36-40 hours underwater, the coffee is washed and dried for about five days in the sun afterward.
The result: A super-slimy coffee with fresh notes of guava, cherry, and maple syrup.
Rosendo is happy with what he learned from his parents:
"My parents started growing coffee 30 years ago. After we could sell our first harvest, we earned more money and were able to give us a better life. They taught me and my two sisters much about growing and selling coffee."
