In Murang’a County, at the foot of the Aberdare Mountains, lies the Marumi washing station. Farmers bring their berries to Marumi, where consistent processing of the berries is carried out there. The cooperative supports them with pre-financing, good payments, and practical measures for sustainability, such as carefully filtering wastewater and stimulating shade trees and additional plantings to ensure a more stable income.
