About this coffee

Jesus Pablo Pablo is one of those coffees that has quietly become part of Stooker. We are six seasons into buying coffee from Jesús, following his work at Finca Meste in Concepcion Huista, Guatemala, and getting to know the care he puts into both his farm and his community.

Last year, after several harvests together, we bought a water tank for him. It sounds simple, but on his farm it makes a real difference: clean stored rainwater helps with coffee processing during harvest, and it supports daily life outside the coffee season. This year, the coffee returns as a continuation of that relationship.

In the cup: caramelized apple, lemonade and blackberries. It is sweet, lively and clean, with enough structure for espresso and enough clarity for filter. The lot is washed, grown at about 2,300 meters, and made from Caturra, Bourbon and Typica.

Things people ask us

Why do you keep buying Jesus Pablo?

Because the coffee is beautiful, and because this relationship has grown over multiple seasons. It is a coffee with a person, a place and a story behind it.

What happened with the water tank?

Last year we bought a water tank for Jesús Pablo. It helps store clean rainwater for coffee processing during harvest and for household use on the farm.

Filter or espresso?

Both. Choose Filter for the lemonade and blackberry side. Choose Espresso for caramelized apple sweetness and a rounder cup.
