About this coffee
Rony Herrera’s coffee is a return to clarity and balance from northern Nicaragua. After rebuilding his family farm following major setbacks, Rony now focuses fully on specialty coffee at 1,450–1,630 masl in La Explosión.
This carefully washed lot showcases his meticulous approach to fermentation, washing, and drying. Expect a juicy, expressive cup with notes of raisin, mandarin, and pear – well-balanced, lively, and precise. It’s a Nicaraguan coffee that reminds us why we love working with growers who combine craft, care, and resilience in every step of production.
