About this coffee
Flora Barista is the same coffee as our Flora - Eduardo Ferreira de Souza's regenerative agroforestry coffee from Fazenda Pedra Preta in Brazil - with a completely different roast. We developed this profile specifically for the espresso machine: a significantly lighter roast that opens up the natural sweetness of the bean and gives a softer, smoother cup than the classic Flora.
Pull it as a straight espresso and you get gentle nuts, caramel and honey sweetness with no bitterness and no sharp edges. Lengthen it into an americano and it stays round and easy. Add milk and it turns into a cappuccino or latte that tastes like a warm, nutty caramel. This is a coffee for people who want their espresso soft and sweet rather than
punchy - and for anyone who wants a milk drink that tastes of coffee, not of roast.
